12/06/03 The squad to face Bournemouth (provided no injuries or illness)A. Dilworth, T. Barker, S. Webster, A. Frost, G. Toop, M. Webster, S. Sawyer, M. Lowe, I. Edworthy, S. Vine, I. George, A. Purdie(12th Man.) Bournemouth have called us and said due to a football tournament at Chapel gate we will be playing on the astro turf wicket, that no less than 6 of the squad players used to play on when at Bournemouth.

11/06/03 Three days short of CCC's biggest game of the season so far against Bournemouth Sports it is still unclear who the result will effect league development. Bournemouth have only played 2 games and won both where as we have played 4 and won 3. Bournemouth are supposedly above us, but Bisterne have played few games and won them as well. If a league table is spotted anywhere please contact the webmaster (address on home page)so we know where we stand. __________________________________________________
11/05/03 Commoners maintain 100% record with comfortable victory over Witchampton. Winning by 209 runs. Ian Edworthy top scored again with a mammoth 107 runs. His opening partner Trevor Barker played superbly before being dismissed for 86. ____________________________________________________
07/05/03 Five CCC players turn out for Dorset Police in Bournemouth's evening league. The police team run by Commoners Steve Vine, feature Steve himself, Ian Edworthy, Andy Dilworth, Martin Lowe and Simon Webster. All of the players except Simon noched up 97 runs (including wides, byes, leg byes and no balls. But the players had to suffer the unusual taste of defeat as the police's vitors, college won with four overs to spear. However celeb status was in attendance at the game, AFC Bournemouth striker James Hayter was there to watch the police lose there first game in the evening league. ____________________________________________________
06/05/03 If you have read the Daily Echo today you would have surely dicovered that Commoners have been given the first BDCA team of the week award of 2003. This marks another milestone for the Commoners after just 1 game the team could not of dreamed of a better start. Hopefully the success will continue with a win against Witchampton this saturday.
